Infant EEC Certified Teacher

We are a private, family-owned business offering childcare to local families with children ages 6 weeks through 6 years. • A typical day looks like :
• Hours from 8 : 00AM-5 : 00 PM or 9 : 00AM-6 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a .5-hour paid break daily. Some flexibility with hours if needed!
• Planning and implementing activities that meet the children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs.
• Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate program in accordance with all relevant childcare policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Establish positive relationships and communicate effectively with children, staff, administration, parents, and members of the community.
• Conduct light cleaning duties such as gathering trash, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, sanitizing toys and table tops, and other general duties.
• Qualifications :
• EEC Certifed or requirements completed to be submitted for review.
• Experience with children or in childcare preferred.
• Must be able to lift, hold, or carry up to 35 pounds and routinely move furniture and equipment.
• Infant and Child CPR / First Aid certificate preferred or within 6 months of hire
• Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills required.
• Ability to be flexible with classroom assignment and work hours.
• A friendly, outgoing, positive personality is a MUST!

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time

Pay : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
