Responsibilities
- All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization.
- This position is responsible for providing support to families involved in the child welfare or probation systems of care.
- Acts as an advocate for the family in all aspects of the Wraparound process.
- The Parent Partner provides in-home services and assists families in accessing needed community resources.
- Interfaces professionally with DCFS, DMH, court systems, schools and other community liaisons.
Qualifications
A minimum of one-year experience in community outreach and advocacy work preferred.High School equivalency preferred.Past consumer of DMH, DCFS, Probation, Regional Center or similar services, successfully transitioned to self-sufficiency.Bilingual English Spanish language skills requiredFamiliarity with utilizing a PC and basic computing programs.A valid California driver's license, use of a car, and certificate of insurance.Overview
