AERI is looking for General Foremen, this is a supervisory / management position. The right candidate will supervise between six and eight crews, depending on the size and geographic distribution of crews at the management's discretion.

Responsibilities

• Possess exceptional leadership qualities and a clear understanding of Human Performance principles.
• Possess strong comprehension of ANSI Z133 safety standards (as amended), AERI safety requirements, and safety practices specified by the Client’s policies.
• Have a thorough knowledge of proper pruning techniques (natural and directional pruning) per ANSI A300 standard practices, as amended.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the AERI’s Line Clearance Contract and all supporting requirements.
• Possess knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience required in subordinate positions.
• Have advanced knowledge of all climbing skills and all other technical aspects (mechanical and manual) of electrical line clearance operations.
• Have a working knowledge of all equipment associated with line clearance activities.
• Have exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with customers, crews, and manage personnel effectively.
• Be proficient in organization and management of assigned projects, while adhering to established schedules and budget.
• Be able to provide detailed and accurate estimates of labor and equipment hours required to complete a project.
• Be proficient in applicable information technology to effectively utilize electronic devices and software required by the AERI (Email, Microsoft Office Suite, Duke Energy applications, etc.).
• Possess effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to abrupt changes in plans and schedules.
• Represent AERI & Duke Energy both positively and professionally.
