Capitol Valley Electric LLC (CVE) is a nationwide leader in renewable energy services, specializing in engineering, procurement, and construction for some of North America's largest and most complex energy projects. We are currently looking for a multi-family foreman to help us oversee a commercial and multifamily project in Berkeley, CA. This role is essential in maintaining project timelines and quality standards while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Ability to interpret specifications and read blueprints.

Review project plans and schematics to understand project scope and requirements.

Manage subcontractors and laborers effectively to optimize productivity.

Order and coordinate delivery of material

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.

Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as : Daily Reports, Safety Reports, Inspection Reports, 2 & 3 week look ahead schedules

Audit safe work practices, ensuring PPE is available and used properly.

Assist superintendent in employee evaluations

Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications

Valid CA General Electrician License

Graduate of a state approved apprenticeship program a plus

Valid CA Driver License

3-5 years' experience in electrical sub-contractor supervision

5-8 years of experience in commercial and mixed-use buildings

OSHA 30

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Moderate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment. Must have a strong sense of balance and no fear of heights. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
