Mechanical Designer

Must Haves :

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a combination of education and experience.
• 3 - 8 years of proven experience working with the engineering or drafting of electrical power distribution products and systems. Preference given to experience with switchgear.
• Experience working with 3D models.
• Demonstratable proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Ability to travel internationally; work will require trips to Germany.

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer based in Wendell, NC for a large manufacturing client. The Mechanical Engineer will join our Medium Voltage Switchgear team (covering both Gas-Insulated and Air-Insulated technologies). This role focuses on our SieBreak™ and 8DJH36 product lines, supporting design, documentation, and manufacturing in Wendell, NC.

Compensation

$70K to $90K.
