Quality Control Inspector A - 2nd Shift - M-F - 2 : 30pm-10pm

Inspects samples for conformance. Processes parts through several quality checks including visual inspection, Magnaflux, and stress / strain test. Record generation and retention.

Effectively communicate and advise quality control supervisors, as appropriate, when discrepancies are discovered.

Document findings of quality control inspections.

\n

Instron and Tinius-Olsen strain / stress machine operation.

\n

Magnaflux machine operation and operator validation.

\n

Climber inspection.

\n

Rockwell hardness tester operation.

\n

Carbon shim analysis.

\n

Wear appropriate safety equipment as required.

\n

Keep immediate inspection area and equipment clean.

\n

Report any broken or missing items upon discovery.

\n

Other work as assigned by supervisor.

\n

Qualifications

Basic math and English skills.

\n

Basic computer skills.

\n

Blueprint reading and utilization.

\n

Procedure reading and utilization.

\n

Document / Product status identification.

\n

Record generation and retention.

\n

Report writing relative to audit or test findings.

\n

Ability to use test and measuring equipment.

\n

Ability to follow directions.

\n

This role has an hourly salary range of $24.50 - $30 / hr.
