Job descriptionCollaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors during the preconstruction phase. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids. Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns. Participate in value engineering and risk assessment discussions. Maintain historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes. 4-7 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably with a general contractor. Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and building codes. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, ProEst, or similar). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Competitive Compensation : Base salary of $110,000 - $140,000 , based on experience and qualifications.
