THE COMPANY

89bio is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative therapies for the treatment of liver and cardio-metabolic diseases. The company's lead product candidate, pegozafermin(BIO89-100), is a specifically engineered glycoPEGylated analog of FGF21. Pegozafermin is being developed for the treatment of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and severe hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG).

THE ROLE

Based in our San Francisco Office, the Program Manager / Senior Program Manager, reporting to the Head of Program Management, will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of cross-functional R&D projects. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with Clinical, Regulatory, ClinPharm, and other departments to drive coordination, communication, and proactive risk management. The (Sr.)Program Manager will be responsible for supporting various sub-teams, developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, and ensuring that program goals are met within the agreed budgets and timelines. Additionally, this role will involve supporting budgetary planning at the program level and presenting project updates to stakeholders.

SALARY & LEVEL

89bio considers a range of factors when determining the salary and level. These considerations mean actual salary and level may vary. The salary range for this position is $126,000 -$160,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
