Job Details

Orientation twice monthly at Duke Lifepoint Hospital with 355 beds.

Home to Frye Regional Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU.

Facility includes 32 bed ED, 29 bed inpatient rehab, 15 bed surgical suite & imaging.

Frye South Campus has an 81 bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital.

Unit Profile : Facility Department / Cost Center CVICU 6540.

Role : RN.

Specialty : CABG, TAVR, STEMI, Carotids.

Number of Openings not specified.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36.

Weekend Hours : every other weekend or as needed.

Call Requirements : no on call.

Float Requirements : per scheduled rotation.

Unit Information : Number of Beds : 8.

Patient Ratios : 2 : 1 with occasional 1 : 1.

Equipment includes Impella, IABP, CRRT.

EHR system : Cerner.

Patient Population : Adult / Geriatric.

Must Have Skills / Experience : 1 year CVICU experience after orientation.

Preferred Skillset : CVICU experience.

Common Diagnosis / Treatment : CABG, TAVR, STEMI, Carotids.

Personality Fit : strong critical thinking skills.

Required Education : Associate Nursing Degree.

Dress Code : Scrub color any but professional; no unacceptable attire specified.

Job Requirements

Minimum 1.5 years experience.

Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS.

CCRN preferred.

Schedule Information

Shift not explicitly specified.
