Job Summary / Description :

FOX, KVVU Las Vegas, is already home to the market's news team. And now we're looking for an experienced Executive Producer to help lead and support the market's leading morning news team.

Duties / Responsibilities include (but not limited to) :

  • Strong news-producing skills and the ability to use that experience to mentor and guide a team of producers morning producers and anchor / reporters toward stated goals
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience in creating a positive team environment
  • Experience in being part of a forward-thinking, contemporary news management team focused on balancing business needs with respect and support of the news staff
  • Excellent news judgment and decision-making ability
  • Ability to work with the senior news management as needed to implement policies and procedures within the department

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Ideal candidates should have at least years of experience as a producer and previous experience as an Executive Producer
  • The successful applicant's background must include, at minimum, a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism or the equivalent
  • No beginners
