Architect – Residential | Hybrid | Glen Head, NY

Stoddard Architecture is growing and seeking an Architect with strong residential experience to join a design-focused, collaborative practice in Glen Head, NY. This role offers hands-on involvement in projects from start to finish, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to grow with the firm. Anticipated start date : January 2026.

What You’ll Do

• Work on single-family residential projects from inception through completion
• Produce accurate, buildable AutoCAD construction documents (xref-based workflow)
• Coordinate with structural, civil, MEP, landscape, and interiors consultants
• Prepare and submit municipal filings with local Villages and Towns
• Measure existing conditions on site
• Observe construction in the field, gaining direct exposure to how drawings translate into built work
• Participate in client coordination
• Offer thoughtful design input when appropriate
• Support general office needs; organization and reliability are essential
