Susquehanna OB / GYN and Nurse Midwifery is seeking an OB / GYN physician to join our experienced OB / GYN physicians and group of midwives. We allow care for women through the stages of their lives, from contraception caste to post-menopausal care. We are looking for a physician who will put their patients first, provide stellar and comprehensive patient experiences, stay ahead of the curve in medical technologies and practices, and work well as a team. Susquehanna Obstetrics, Gynecology and Nurse Midwifery has 2 office locations in Bel Air, MD and Havre de Grace, MD.

Our practice is committed to compassionate care based on proven medical practices and standards. Susquehanna OB / GYN is particularly proud of its Nurse Midwifery program, one of the most established in the State of Maryland. We deliver more babies and offer more birth options than any other practice in the region. Through our experienced physicians and nurse midwives, Susquehanna OB / GYN offers a family-centered approach to the birth process. Every woman and pregnancy is unique. Susquehanna recognizes and provides exceptional care for each patient, with a focus on education and counseling.

Job Responsibilities :

Deliver exceptional, patient-centered women’s health care in both obstetrics and gynecology

Manage and perform approximately 40–50 deliveries per month

Conduct thorough examinations, gather detailed medical histories, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests with precision

Provide leadership and mentorship to clinical staff—including nurses, advanced practice providers (APPs), and medical assistants—ensuring compliance with clinical standards and best practices

Support the implementation and integration of innovative technologies to enhance patient care and improve the overall patient experience

Qualifications :

Board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Exceptional diagnostic and decision-making skills with the ability to solve complex problems with accuracy

Capacity to demonstrate excellence in communication, both with patients and colleagues

A compassionate, empathetic approach that ensures the highest standard of patient-centered care

Open to both newly trained and experienced OB / GYN physicians

Active Maryland medical license preferred

Annual Compensation Range based on years of experience : $302,500 -$401,500
