Position Summary
The Capital Projects Manager is responsible for leading facility and pipeline projects from design to completion with necessary tools and resources that meet company goals and initiatives. This individual provides technical and administrative guidance as well as necessary training to successfully complete these key projects. This position is located in Texas and reports to the SVP Engineering & Operations.

Essential Job Duties
- Designs surface facility & pipeline projects and manages them through execution.
- Manages and coordinates project approvals, engineering design, procurement, construction, budget and onsite commissioning / startup
- Travel to project locations as needed for progress checks, startups, commissioning, etc.
- Work with Operations, Engineering, and other Internal Groups to provide cost estimates for potential projects and AFEs for internal projects.
- Manages capital project budgets to ensure cost estimating and project scoping for ROI
- Supervises construction team
- Collaborates with Procurement / Supply Chain to maximize value on contractor / vendor selection and allocation, inclusive of nurturing vendor relationships for timely and cost efficient deliverables.
- Advises on economic models for potential projects in partnership with BD and Corporate Development for potential opportunities.
- Provides technical knowledge related to contract language / structure based on project scopes.
- Collaborates with Land department on projects including but not limited to pipeline routing, ROW status, survey and alignment sheet creation, landowner construction requirements and exclusivity to royalties.
- Provides oversight of contract compliance and general reporting.
- Adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements for existing and future projects, including permitting and safety regulations.
- Leads by example on Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, JSAs, Training, Incident Reports, and Safety Observations.
- Participates, reviews and approves assigned procurement process inclusive of PO and invoices for accuracy on a timely manner.
- Supervises and mentors engineering staff, including identifying areas of development.
- Responsible for approving timesheets timely and accurately as applicable.
- Participates in performance management, hiring, development and disciplinary processes as applicable.
- Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs and / or growth

Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Engineering8 years oil and gas experienceStrong understanding of system hydraulics including modeling softwareStrong organization, planning and time-management skills for multiple priorities.Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of organization.Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Proactive problem-solver with strong critical and analytic skillsProfessional, tactful, and discrete when handling sensitive and confidential information.Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.Able to travel as needed.Preferred Qualifications
