We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Solutions Architecture to lead and develop our solutions architecture team. The ideal candidate will be a technology visionary with a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale solutions to meet client needs, drive business transformation, and enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities include defining architecture strategy, designing innovative solutions, engaging clients, and building a high-performance team.

What You'll Do

  • Leadership & Team Management :

Lead and mentor a team of solutions architects.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategic initiatives.
  • Prioritize architecture tasks to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Solution Design & Architecture :

    • Define and implement architecture strategies for RFID, AIDC, Mobility, and Printing solutions.

  • Provide technical direction to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
  • Oversee development of architecture diagrams and documentation.
  • Evaluate and select new technologies and tools.
  • Client Focus :

    • Work with clients to understand requirements and design tailored solutions.

  • Lead technical discussions to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Engage in pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise.
  • Technology Strategy & Innovation :

    • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.

  • Contribute to the company's technology roadmap and innovation initiatives.
  • Advise senior leadership on technology directions.
  • Project Oversight & Quality Assurance :

    • Oversee architecture governance and project timelines.

  • Identify and address potential risks.
  • Monitor solution performance and client satisfaction.
  • Budget & Resource Management :

    • Manage team budgets and resources.

  • Drive cost-effective solutions aligned with financial goals.

    • What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years in software engineering or solutions architecture with large-scale delivery success.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles managing technical teams.
  • Expertise in RFID, AIDC, Mobility, Printing, and related categories.
  • Experience designing scalable, secure, high-performance systems.
  • Familiarity with agile and DevOps practices.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills with strategic and tactical thinking.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and architecture frameworks.
