Job Title : JHRL Staff Accountant

Essential Functions
Accounts Payable 30%
- Review payment terms to ensure timely payment of operating invoices and avoid finance charges
- Review invoices for compliance with corporate approval levels prior to paying
- Ensure all Teton County, Wyoming taxes are properly calculated
- Work with managers to ensure payment of goods in month they were effectively received
- Review work orders in lodging software to ensure accuracy in vendor, amount, and mark-up prior to posting to monthly statements
- Charge owners in lodging software for utilities, HOA dues, and the work orders in a timely manner
- Identify and maintain vendor 1099 information
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoices as needed
- Process checks twice a week and prepares on-demand checks as needed
General Accounting 30%
Prepare daily Trust account audit reports to ensure all transactions are reported and ready for bank reconciliationProcess corporate credit card transactions, distribute statements, prepare journal entries, and follow up with cardholders to properly record credit card purchasesPerform monthly journal entries for all cash deposits received into operating accountingPerform basic re-class journal entries as needed to correct accountsPrepare weekly JHRL Forecast for review by JHRL Accounting and Revenue ManagerAccounts Receivable 20%
Apply incoming electronic payments to reservation ARDeposit and post payments from HOA's, employee housing, rental, and caretaking owners to the appropriate accounts in a timely mannerInvoice for any internal billings and post payments in a timely mannerLong Term Rental Processing 10%
Process monthly revenue for long-term unitsProcess billing for long-term tenants and ownersPrepare owner payments and statements and coordinate with Long Term Manager in Homeowner RelationsGeneral 10%
Collect and distribute JHRL mail dailyProcess weekly FedEx on behalf of HOA DepartmentSupport other members of JHRL and accounting by performing additional duties as requested by managementEmployees are held accountable for all duties of this job.
