Sales Solution Consultant

Company has been helping improve the safety and resiliency of the food supply chain for over 20 years. We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking, smart, and self-motivated Sales Solution Consultant with a proven track record that is passionate about helping customers ranging from small family farms to the largest food distributors and manufacturers.

You will be responsible for providing first-class support to the sales team through creation and delivery of solution overviews for all company products. This includes onsite and / or virtual sales meetings with prospects and current clients, acting as a primary presenter in webinars, assisting in the onboarding of new sales team members and external partners, and serving as a liaison between the sales and technical teams to ensure customer success at every stage of the sales cycle.

Responsibilities :

Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition

Participate in discovery sessions to unearth and understand the client’s business objectives and underlying problems

Successfully match customer pain / requirements to company solutions

Strategize with sales and product teams to design solution overviews that best meet client requirements

Present directly to clients via small group onsite and / or virtual meetings

Prepare solution blueprints outlining specific client requirements that will be used to create Statements of Work for client projects

Lead webinars and other large-audience presentations

Educate and train new sales team members and external partners on the value proposition of our products

Act as a product expert and resource for sales team members

Act as a subject matter expert for the future direction of our products

Requirements :

Bachelors or higher degree in a business related major

Comfortable presenting in front of both large and small audiences

Ability to build rapport in one-on-one, small group, and large audience settings

Ability to explain complex topics in an easy to understand manner

Proven ability to think on your feet

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Willingness to travel

Experience in pre-sales or in food related business role (foodservice, retail grocery, food manufacturer, grower / shipp) is a plus.
