As a Permanent Attorney in our firm, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
1. Representing clients in all aspects of construction defect litigation, including pre-litigation negotiation, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal.
2. Conducting thorough and detailed investigations, legal research, and discovery related to construction defect claims.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
4. Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of construction defect issues.
5. Developing and implementing effective legal strategies to resolve complex construction defect cases.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the smooth running of the firm.
7. Keeping up to date with the latest developments in construction law and adapting strategies accordingly.
8. Maintaining high standards of professional conduct and ethics at all times.
Job Details
The ideal candidate for the Attorney position will possess the following qualifications :
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Current license to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, with a strong focus on construction defect law.
4. Proven track record of success in managing and resolving construction defect cases.
5. Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
7. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
