The Revenue Analyst is responsible for the leadership, planning and execution of revenue management strategies within assigned markets. This position collaborates with all departments to align actions, with the strategy of the organization, in order to achieve financial success for all lines of business within assigned markets.
Reports To
Director of Business Development
- Serves as a strategic lead in the execution of revenue management activities within assigned markets.
- Collaborate with market leaders to develop and update financial metrics, for all lines of business, based on current market costs and dynamics.
- Evaluate and execute revenue strategies to increase market profitability based on customer level data analysis and market financial metrics.
- Develops strategic recommendations by working with market leaders to analyze all necessary data, including local sales knowledge, market trends, current prices and competitive landscape and activity.
- Collaborate with market leaders to set budgeted revenue targets by business units and lines of business.
- Partner with Sales and Operations to identify, measure and execute profitable growth and retention opportunities.
- Track and report key performance metrics related to market pricing strategies.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Experience, Operations and Finance to ensure Pricing tools meet the strategic objectives of the market.
- Serve as the Pricing lead on bid proposals and all key financial / pricing analysis projects.
- Performs other job-related functions as assigned or apparent.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or similar area of study, with 3+ years of previous experience.
- Experience in service, transportation or logistics industry.
- Prior experience working with Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Finance teams.
- Ability to solve complex problems while maintaining objectivity.
- Ability to professionally interact with all levels of the company to gain support for ideas, projects and recommended solutions.
- Ability to cultivate collaborative relationships to strengthen partnerships with all departments within the organization.
- Strong negotiation, project management, communication, presentation and problem solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the demonstrated ability to solve problems using a logical, systematic and disciplined approach.
