Position Summary
Were seeking a full-time Senior Engineer Global Network Infrastructure for our Indiana-based warehouse. Within this role you will design implement and maintain a robust and secure network infrastructure for our warehouse operations. This role is critical to ensuring seamless connectivity reliable wireless performance and scalable solutions that support evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in network design wireless spectrum planning troubleshooting and optimization with a strong focus on operational excellence and security.
Job Responsibilities
- Design implement and optimize the backbone network to support warehouse operations and ensure high availability.
- Plan and manage wireless spectrum allocation ensuring efficient interference-free wireless connectivity throughout the warehouse.
- Monitor and analyze network performance proactively identifying issues troubleshooting failures and restoring service quickly to minimize downtime.
- Partner with business teams to understand requirements deliver tailored network solutions and lead successful implementation.
- Execute and oversee daily network changes adhering to standardized processes and security best practices to safeguard system integrity.
Job Requirements
5 years of relevant experience in network design operations and maintenance for large-scale environments.Strong knowledge of network architectures including SD-WAN cloud networks (AWS GCP Azure) and IDC network infrastructure.Proficiency in routing protocols such as TCP / IP STP OSPF BGP MPLS and MLAG.Hands-on experience with mainstream network products including routers switches firewalls and load balancers.Bachelors degree or higher in Networking Communications Computer Science or a related field.Proven success leading IDC data network projects across planning implementation and operations.Experience building and optimizing large-scale commercial wireless networks.Strong teamwork communication and collaboration skills.Benefits and Perks
