About The Position

Location : Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Specialty : Medical Lab Technician Type : Travel Schedule : 4x10s Nights Time : 13 Weeks

Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for an Medical Lab Technician in Chapel Hill, NC. This assignment consists of four 10-hour night shifts per week, totaling 40 hours paying $1,775 weekly.

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Lab Technician :

  • Perform, analyze, and validate a wide range of clinical laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment according to established procedures
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of test results while following quality control protocols
  • Record and report test data accurately in the laboratory information system
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Participate in continuing education and performance improvement activities

    • Requirements of the Medical Lab Technician :

  • Valid ASCP or MLT (AMT) Certification
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Medical Lab Tech
  • Prepares specimens, resolves specimen problems, and performs analytical tests
  • Ability to work scheduled night shifts
