Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : January 5, 2026 (or later) Shifts : 12-hour nights (19 : 00 - 07 : 30), 36 hours per week Unit : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) - 30 beds (18 CVICU, 12 CVIMCU) Employment Type : Travel nursing job Estimated Weekly Salary : $1860 - $2000 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience, with a strong cardiovascular background Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oregon RN license not required at submission; pending is acceptable) BLS and ACLS certifications required Epic EMR charting experience required Telemetry skills required Previous travel nursing experience required CCRN certification preferred CVICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with complex cardiac diagnoses, including post-cardiac surgery, heart failure, arrhythmias, and advanced cardiac interventions Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced therapies such as IABP, Impella, CRRT, and ventricular assist devices Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care and participate in daily rounds Float between CVICU and CVIMCU as needed, and to affiliate hospitals within the Oregon health system Perform and assist with specialized procedures, including arterial and central line management, ventilator management, and post-cardiac surgery care Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
