Description :
Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their place of residence who have cognitive and / or physical impairments resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other causes.
Patients may range in age from birth to over 100 years.
Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify patient needs and coordinate services to meet those needs.
Manage technical, environmental, and financial resources.
Two years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or home care as an Occupational Therapist is required.
Ability to work with various computer software is necessary, and knowledge of handheld patient care devices is preferred.
Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills are essential.
Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing situations is required.
Travel may be required within the geographic area.
