Job descriptionProvide comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse patient population Manage a high volume of walk-in cases due to remote emergency services Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure quality patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation using RPMS EMR system Respond to urgent patient needs within the scope of practice Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Arizona (multi-state licenses accepted) IHS experience preferred but not required Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Whether you need long term coverage for your practice, short term vacation coverage, or anything in between – you can trust Barton Associates to provide the flexible staffing solutions your organization needs to thrive. About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Dec 22, 2025. This role features Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm shifts in an outpatient clinic setting that experiences a high volume of walk-in patients due to the nearest emergency room being 50 minutes away.
