Warehouse Delivery Driver (CDL Required)

Position Overview :

Candidate must be able to successfully pass a motor vehicle report. Driver will be responsible for driving / operating the Vacuum trucks Roll-Off trucks Service Trucks and Waterblast equipment on and off site. Driver will be expected to operate truck(s) and tools in a safe manner in a variety of outside environments. Candidate is required to provide proof of completed OSHA 10 or higher within 60 days of original hire date.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Responsible for the operation and set-up of Vac and Blast operations
• Must maintain equipment help in operation of equipment understand ability of the equipment and operate in a safe manner
• Complete a vehicle inspection report to assure vehicle and equipment are safe to operate before leaving site.
• Connect and disconnect hoses dump / unload materials clean out truck tank after daily use
• Understand different hose types tips and set ups.
• Obey traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate driving logs
• Immediately report all accidents near misses and injuries involving employees or others to the Safety Manager or Supervisors on site
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8 hours a day (Climb ladders Bending twisting lifting up to 50lbs and Prolonged walking standing
• Follows directions of managers / lead / superintendent and clarifies responsibility if needed
• Respects self co-workers managers company other contractors and Clients
• Takes care of company owned and rented equipment returning in like manor
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic mechanical of trucks and equipments and ability to fix basic mechanical problems
• Gather correct tools needed to perform the task assigned
• Ability to drive manual transmission
• Understands appropriate offload procedures
• Additional duties as assigned
