The Opportunity : We are pursuing qualified candidates to fill Senior Real Property Agent positions within the Los Angeles County's Chief Executive Office. The position supervises real property functions such as negotiations and transactions related to the acquisition and management of real property.

To qualify, applicants must meet one of the following options :
A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to use an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions. Physical Class II Light - This class includes administrative and clerical positions requiring light physical effort that may include occasional light lifting to a 10-pound limit and some bending, stooping, or squatting. Considerable ambulation may be involved.
Veteran's Credit Information : If you are a veteran, you may be eligible for veteran's credit, which is an additional 10 points added to a passing score. To be considered, we will need to review your DD214, so please include a copy as an attachment with your application.

In the County of Los Angeles, experience at the level of a Real Property Agent II is defined as performing real property analysis, appraisal, purchase, sale, leases, relocation, or concession and franchise negotiation for public or County use. If your experience was not obtained with the job title, Real Property Agent II, you may still qualify under Options 1 or 2. What matters is that your experience is at a similar level meaning your job involves similar responsibilities, requires comparable skills and knowledge, and takes place within a similar organizational structure.
Please provide a clear explanation of your experience to demonstrate that it is at the appropriate level.
Applicants who expect to qualify under Option 3 must hold or have held the payroll title of Real Property Agent II within the service of the County of Los Angeles.
