Territory Sales Manager – John Deere Construction and Forestry
Remote – primary location Oregon. Applicants who are willing to relocate to Vancouver, Washington; Portland, Oregon; or Eugene, Oregon are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary business lead working with dealers to engage key customers, drive whole goods and attachment sales, coordinate with the territory team, and support local and regional events and associations.
- Collaborate with dealers to manage sales processes and drive sales growth.
- Lead implementation of strategic initiatives with products and solutions in the assigned territory.
- Drive effective use of incentives and programs to accomplish sales targets.
- Arrange and execute product, application and sales process training with dealers.
- Coordinate dealer use of product consultants and sales training resources.
Qualifications
Experience with the construction and / or off‑road equipment industry and customer base.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of building and maintaining positive working relationships.Understanding of both Deere and dealer business acumen and ability to apply concepts to strategic and tactical conversations.Creative thinker with the ability to identify key issues and work with teams to solve problems using innovative solutions.Strong time‑management, prioritization and planning capabilities.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory to work with dealers and visit customers.Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or related field preferred.
