Job Title : DC Operations Engineer - Networking Focus

Location : Rochdale TX

Role Summary :

The DC Ops Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining data center operations with a strong focus on networking infrastructure. The role requires hands-on experience with DC technologies network troubleshooting and collaboration with IT teams to ensure high availability and performance of services.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate monitor and maintain data center infrastructure including servers storage and networking devices.

Implement and manage network configurations including LAN / WAN firewalls switches and routers.

Troubleshoot hardware software and network issues to ensure continuous uptime .

Coordinate with IT and application teams for deployment patching and upgrades .

Maintain documentation of network and DC operations processes and procedures.

Participate in incident response and disaster recovery activities.

Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Competencies :

Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP / IP DNS DHCP VLANs routing and switching).

Hands-on experience with network hardware and data center equipment .

Knowledge of network monitoring tools and DC operations management.

Experience in troubleshooting and performance optimization in DC environments.

Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in cloud integration or hybrid DC environments .

Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP CompTIA Network or Data Center-related certifications .

Exposure to automation or scripting for operational tasks (PowerShell Python Ansible).
