The Opportunity

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for an exciting locum assignment in Wilmington, Ohio. This opportunity is ideal for physicians looking for consistent  mid-volume ED shifts with flexible scheduling at a well-supported community hospital with a diverse patient population and strong specialty backup.

Assignment Details

Shifts Per Month : 15–20 (Full-Time Locums Coverage Available)

Schedule :

Day Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM

Night Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Monday through Sunday coverage

Annual ED Volume : 19,000 visits

ED Beds : 18

Hospital Beds : 100

Patients Per Hour : ~1.8

Team Model : 24-hour MD coverage

12-hour APP coverage

MD supervision of APCs required

EMR : EDIS Medhost

Trauma Designation : Non-Trauma Facility

Clinical Scope

Provide full-spectrum emergency medical care in a fast-paced ED

Oversee and collaborate with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) during shifts

Respond to emergencies and collaborate with the hospitalist team for code responses

Manage a wide variety of patient cases with strong specialty support on site :

Anesthesiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, OB / GYN, and more

Candidate Requirements

Board Certifications Accepted : ABEM, ABFM, ABIM

Licensure : Active Ohio Medical License + Unrestricted DEA

Certifications :   BLS, ACLS

ATLS required if non-ABEM certified

Experience : Recent ED experience in comparable volumes preferred

Credentialing : Temporary privileges granted for clean files
