We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fleet operates efficiently and safely. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of performance and reliability. 7pm-6am M-F

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics.
• Assemble and disassemble engine components as needed for repairs.
• Conduct tire service, including alignment and replacement.
• Inspect air brake systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with other service technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.

Requirements

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to diesel mechanics.

Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and schematics.

Experience with assembling and disassembling various engine components.

Knowledge of tire service procedures, including alignment techniques.

Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance and repair practices.

Ability to diagnose issues related to air brake systems effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
