Apply today and join our team. The Office of the Inspector General’s Information Technology Unit has an opening for an Information Technology Manager I. The position is located in Rancho Cordova, offers free parking, free electric vehicle charging, and is near public transit, shopping, and an array of food options.

Pursuant to Government Code 14200, hybrid telework may be available for eligible employees residing in California, requiring at least one in-office day per week. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Proof of California residency will be required if teleworking,

Under the administrative direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I) provides leadership and direction to the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) Information Technology Unit’s Infrastructure, Help Desk, and DevOps teams. The ITM I plans, organizes, and directs policy, standards, and policy compliance activities for the internal users access and IT ticket resolutions, internal MacBook and Windows PCs (300+) administrative controls, network infrastructure controls, DevOps support, security compliance assessments, gathering security requirements, monitoring legislation, providing advice and consultation services on information security policy matters.

The ITM I may be required to carry an Apple mobile phone for contact outside of regular business hours in the rare case of needing to be contacted for systems support
