Medical Technologist MT Core Lab

Description

The Medical Technologist contributes to the diagnosis treatment and care of patients by the accurate performance and reporting of laboratory testing procedures on blood and body fluids. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patients age-specific needs is required.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a health-related field required.

• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Also Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program

Additional Skills and Qualifications :

Strong organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities required. Experience as a Medical Technologist and good computer skills preferred.

Certification from AMT or ASCP in Medical Technology Med Lab Science or a related specialty preferred upon hire or required within 18 months of hire.
