Staff Psychologist Opportunity in the greater Houston Area

The Department of Veterans Affairs Houston Healthcare System is seeking a full-time Staff Psychologist with an addiction  and substance-use treatment disorder background  for the Michael E. Debakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. The psychologist will provide direct patient contact including, but not limited to : case management, psychological assessment and treatment planning, individual psychotherapy / assessment sessions, family / caregiver stress therapy sessions, and other evidenced based treatments for serious mental illness. The psychologist will perform evaluations of patients with an addiction and substance abuse  disorders.

Work Schedule :  Mon, Tues, Thurs ,Fr 8 : 00 a.m.- 4 : 30 p.m. and Wed 11 : 30am-8pm
