The Opportunity :

Avantor , a Global Fortune 500 company is looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Specia l is t I to o ptimize our Avantor Fluid Handling / Quality Assurance organization. This role is full-time, on site at our Morrisville, NC location.

Minimum Education Requirement

• Highschool / GED

Required Experience ( 1 + yrs) :

M a thematics skills

Business level communication, written and interpersonal skills

A ttention to detail

Reading , understand ing and follow ing procedures

E scalat ing issues according to established procedures

Documentation skills ( to accurately record test results and quality issues ) .

Collaboration Tool : Proficiency working with Microsoft Office products ( i.e. Excel, Word )

Ensur ing cleanliness of work areas.

Follow ing applicable safety procedures

Communicat ing issues / concerns to area owner and direct supervisor or manager .

Preferred Experience :

Familiarity with qu ality standards (IE : ISO 9001 )

Experience and / or training in a regulated industry w ith q uality m anagement s ystems

GMP knowledge

I n a q uality role within the medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry

Avantor Fluid Handling in Morrisville offers extensive expertise in single-use product design, specia l izing in reducing bioprocessing contamination risk.

The s elf-motivated Quality Assurance Specia l is t I will have the ability to work independently while on a team and will comply with compa ny policies, procedures, work instructions, and training requirements focusing on customer service, production, and quality.

The Quality Assurance Specia l is t I will :

Ensure documentation and physical product segregation and containment of non-conforming material.

Support generation of job packets for p roduction

Support batch record review process.

Assist in l abel generation

Support certification requests

Review production documentation for accuracy, completeness, and GDP compliance .

Assist with always ensuring a state of "audit readiness " .

Document any deviations or non-conformances, following Avantor procedures and Work Instructions, encountered during routine activities.

Assist in resolving basic quality issues under supervision.

Collect data for quality reports.

Order supplies for the quality department when needed.

Supports certification requests

Performs other duties as assigned
