HumanEdge Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Travel LTAC RN for a day shift contract opportunity in Florence, South Carolina . Join a supportive team environment focused on quality, safety, and patient-centered care.

Position Overview :

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of high-quality care in accordance with the individualized nursing care plan. This role includes the supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.

Responsibilities :

Complete patient assessments within 8 hours of admission to establish an individualized care plan

Provide accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Deliver direct patient care using evidence-based practices and the nursing process

Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care

Communicate patient status and care updates to physicians and interdisciplinary team

Act as a resource to team members and provide leadership during assigned shifts

Supervise and delegate responsibilities to support personnel appropriately

Initiate and support discharge planning from the day of admission

Ensure safety in patient handling, infection control, and work environment practices

Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and quality improvement initiatives

Maintain supply inventory and support cost-effective care delivery

Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development

May assume charge nurse duties when required

Requirements :

Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state

BLS and ACLS certifications required

1+ years of LTAC, med-surg, or acute care experience strongly preferred

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to lead teams and thrive in a high-acuity setting
