Med / Surg RN Job Details

Location : Englewood, CO 80113 – Prime Colorado healthcare location near Denver

Unit : Med / Surg Orthopedic (MS ORTHO 611), Main Hospital, 9 South Floor

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Start Date : December 22, 2025

End Date : March 23, 2026

Duration : 13-week travel nursing contract

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Open Positions : 2 Med / Surg RN jobs available

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,470 - $1,570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg or surgical nursing experience

Ability to independently manage a 5-patient assignment in a fast-paced healthcare setting

Proficiency with EMR systems (Meditech experience preferred)

Orthopedic and pain management experience preferred

Strong teamwork, communication, and positive attitude

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care to medical-surgical and orthopedic patients, including elective and trauma cases

Perform dressing changes, aspiration procedures, and pain management interventions

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EMR

Follow hospital and unit policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
