As a Physical Therapist at UNC Health Appalachian , you'll use your clinical expertise to evaluate, treat, and empower patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions. Compensation : Starting pay begins at $36.28 per hour , with competitive rates based on experience and education.

Schedule : Full-time, day shift.

What You'll Do as a Physical Therapist

• Evaluate patients and develop evidence-based treatment plans addressing movement, function, strength, and mobility.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional mobility training.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and caregivers to support education, safety, and engagement in the plan of care.
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support coordinated care.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
