We are seeking a Psychiatrist, to work as an Inpatient Unit Chief or Inpatient Attending depending on experience. The Inpatient Unit Chief or Inpatient Attending performs administrative, supervisory, and clinical care in our Inpatient Psychiatry teaching unit. Performs related duties as required.Duties and responsibilities : Leadership position available for a dynamic Clinician-Educator on a state-of-the-art inpatient psychiatry teaching unit. Direct patient care shared with attending MD and Psychiatric NP. Low caseload demand to focus on education, mentoring and care excellence. Take charge of a progressive psychiatric acute care team on a beautiful new general adult 25 bed unit.Provide SUNY Downstate PGY2 resident, chief resident and medical student supervision.Exceptional opportunity at a multi-cultural, historic community hospital dedicated to the highest quality and most compassionate patient care.
