What You'll Do :

Provide IT phone support by taking incoming calls for devices including PC workstations / laptops, MACs, thin clients, printers / fax, scanners, office phones, iPhones, Android phones, iPads, Tablets, modems, routers, and switches

Support the hardware and software infrastructure in the branch and home office environments in a way that ensures continued functionality

Apply analytical skills, along with technical knowledge and an understanding of our business environment, to provide quality solutions to our branches and home office users

Accurately identify and document trends for effective problem management.

Delivery of solutions provided by other areas of IS that require remote troubleshooting and instruction

Responsible for weekend and holiday support coverage as a regular function of the department

Effectively mentor other associates and provide development support within the team environment, through on the job coaching

Take a leadership role in projects designed to meet key goals for the department.

Pursues solutions to identified trends and effectively communicates details to business areas and the department

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts : health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program. Hiring Minimum : $46600

Hiring Maximum : $76800

Skills / Requirements

What Experience You'll Need :

Bachelor's degree preferred

2+ of analytical and technical experience, including :

Comprehensive understanding of and the ability to troubleshoot the following technologies required :

Windows

Mobile devices and PDAs

Workstation hardware

Laptops and / or Tablets

Laser printers

Microsoft Office

Video equipment

Enterprise phone systems

Wireless networking

Driver / Software installation and removal

Demonstrated ability to multitask

Flexibility in adapting to change quickly in a fast-paced environment

Experience mentoring or training others is required

Demonstrated performance as a peer coach with associate performance evaluation experience is required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to think critically when faced with complex situations

Ability to react calmly in stressful situations

Ability to apply high quality service delivery skills

Ability to drive results towards a common solution

Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.

Current INTERNAL home-based associates : While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status . Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
