Nurse Manager

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the supervision of Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) at the Opioid Treatment Program. The Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring quality patient care in compliance with local, state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. The Nurse Manager is responsible for :

• recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training nurses as well as coaching, counseling, and disciplining nurses.
• scheduling and assigning nursing staff to ensure proper workflow and coverage.
• overseeing the implementation of infection-control policies and protocols.
• enforcing medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations; and patient confidentiality.
• ensuring proper documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.
• maintaining equipment and nursing supplies inventory

In the absence of the clinical director, the Nurse Manager is responsible for directing and supervising all nursing and clinical services. At least three (3) years experience working as an RN in a substance abuse treatment setting and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in a nursing supervisory / management role, preferably in a substance abuse
