Job Details :

• Work varied schedule with weekend and holiday rotation required
• May float to support other units as needed
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history and physical with patient / family within appropriate timeframes
• Monitor diagnostics and laboratory data, report abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate individualized care plans based on assessment data and patient needs
• Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination and delegation
• Provide nursing supervision for licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and revise plans as needed
• Document all aspects of patient care in accordance with policies and standards
• Participate in unit shared leadership and staff education activities
• Current valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months required
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies for assigned area
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
