About The Position

Are you a board-certified Obstetrician / Gynecologist looking to make a difference in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit? Join a dynamic and supportive OB Hospitalist Team that prioritizes patient-centered care and teamwork! 👶🤰

📍JOB LOCATION : Grand Rapids, MI 49503

💼 What You'll Do :

Provide in-house obstetric care including management of laboring and postpartum patients 🤱

Manage obstetric emergencies, deliveries, and unassigned OB / GYN cases 🚑

Collaborate closely with experienced clinical support staff including L&D nurses, Neonatologists, and Nurse Managers 🤝

Work alongside a Level III NICU caring for high-risk newborns 🏥👶

Educate and supervise OB / GYN residents, fellows, and medical students 🎓

Rotate 24-hour shifts (6-7 per month), including holiday coverage, in a structured, team-based environment ⏰

Participate in a culture focused on safety for mothers and babies ❤️👶

🩺 Requirements :

Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in OB / GYN (certification required within 2 years)

Minimum 3 years of OB / GYN experience with surgical skills 🏥

Valid medical license, DEA, BLS, ACLS certifications (must maintain recertification) 📋

No new grads, visa candidates, locums, or those with lapsed board certification 🙅‍♂️

Clean malpractice and license history preferred ✅
