Estimated Weekly Salary : $2250-$2310

Assignment Type : Travel nursing contract

Unit : Emergency Room (ER) & Med-Surg Adult

Shifts : Rotating days & nights, including weekends

Shift Duration : 12-hour shifts

Hours per Week : 36 (3 x 12-hour shifts)

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Number of Positions : 2 ER RN jobs available

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license

American Heart Association BLS certification

American Heart Association ACLS certification

National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification

American Heart Association PALS or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course certification

Competence in modified primary nursing

Minimum 1 year of emergency nursing or critical care experience required

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred

Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility

ER RN Responsibilities – Healthcare Jobs

Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

Collect and analyze comprehensive patient health data

Develop individualized care plans and implement strategies for optimal patient outcomes

Promote health and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through continuous improvement

Participate in ongoing education, including stroke and trauma training

Demonstrate sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and professionalism in a fast-paced ER setting

Comply with hospital policies and protocols, especially for acute stroke and trauma care

Provide leadership and support professional development of nursing peers
