Registered Nurse - Full Time - Days

Position Summary :

Under the leadership of the Clinical Nurse Manager, the Wound Care Registered Nurse is an active member of the management team that delivers professional wound care services and support that is consistent with the strategic vision, goals, philosophy, and direction of Wound Center / department and CRHS. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the coordination of clinical activities of the outpatient wound care clinic, the use of organizational skills, leadership, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing patient care through the use of hospital and nursing standards. The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for people, acute and chronic wounds, drains, tubes, fistulas, pressure ulcers and fecal and urinary diversions. The Registered Nurse has an educative role (staff in-services, patient teaching and community education), advocacy role, as well as research and administrative duties. This position works in collaboration with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet the Center's program objectives to help ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications :

• Education :

Requires an Associate's degree of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Requires two to five years RN experience in an active clinical setting, preferably working with wound care.

Licensure, Registrations & Certifications :

Requires a current State of Georgia professional nursing license.

Requires a current CPR Healthcare Provider certification (If CPR verification is not current upon hire, it must be obtained within the orientation period.)

Requires a current certification in Wound Care.
