Locum Tenens Physician - Otolaryngology

Position Type : Locum Tenens

Specialty : Otolaryngology

Location : Colorado

Shift Details :

Days : Monday - Thursday (flexible on the days of the week)
Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (Clinic and OR)
On-Call Requirements : Weekday Night Call (5 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 AM)

Position Details :

Patient Population : 90% Adult, 10% Pediatric

Responsibilities :

50% Surgical & 50% Office / Clinic

Average of 15 patients per day (95% scheduled, 5% add-ons)

2-6 hospital patient surgeries per physician per day

Supervision of other healthcare providers

Required Procedures :

General Otolaryngology (Surgical & Non-surgical)

Endoscopic Procedures (Septal, Sinus, Bronchoscopy, Laryngoscopy, Tracheotomy)

Preferred : Thyroidectomy, Parotidectomy, Neck Surgery, Facial Reconstruction, and Surgery.

EMR System : EPIC

Support Staff : RN, MA, Immunology / Allergy Clinic, APP, Office Support

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified in Otolaryngology (NO Board Eligible)

Active Colorado License or Active IMLC

Ability to perform all required procedures and supervise other healthcare providers

ACLS (AHA) Certification

Clean background and no malpractice history

COVID Vaccinated
