MAT LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE POSITION SUMMARY

The Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing treatment for substance use disorders in a correctional environment. The LPN works closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to administer medications, monitor patient progress, and support recovery efforts in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. This role is essential in ensuring safe medication delivery, maintaining accurate documentation, and promoting a supportive treatment environment.
