Advanced Practice Providers staff the ED and our physicians provide back up call (1 : 4).Deadwood, population 1300, is located in the higher elevations of the Northern Black Hills, about 45 minutes from Rapid City and only 20 minutes to Spearfish. The entire town of Deadwood is a National Historic Landmark and is rich with history dating back to the discovery of gold in the Black Hills in 1876.
