Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in a high-volume production environment. This position is responsible for administering HR programs and providing support to employees and supervisors in areas such as benefits, leave administration, compliance, recruiting, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
Position Responsibilities :
Administer HR programs including benefits, leave of absence, and unemploymentSupport managers and supervisors with HR policies and proceduresWork collaboratively with leadership to identify and resolve HR-related issuesAdminister payroll and timekeeping systemsEnsure compliance with federal and state employment regulationsRespond to internal and external HR-related inquiries (e.g., EEOC, legal, government agencies)Coordinate recruiting efforts for exempt, non-exempt, and temporary positionsOversee performance evaluations, corrective actions, and employee relations programsProduce HR reports and metrics aligned with departmental goalsRecommend improvements to policies and procedures for better efficiencyServe as a role model of the company's mission, vision, and valuesMaintain documentation and adhere to safety protocols, including emergency proceduresAdvise department managers on risks related to compliance, employee safety, and product / process integrityInitiate actions to address and prevent nonconformanceIdentify, record, and escalate HR-related issues through proper channelsVerify implementation of corrective actionsControl the processing of nonconforming employee documentation or actions until resolvedPosition Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of HR experience OR Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience OR 7+ years of HR experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalismProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)About Spark Talent Acquisition :
