Job description

The Opportunity

The Program Coordinator will be part of the Outreach Department and work under the leadership and supervision of the Program Manager II to support the development and implementation of the SANAH Program over its 5-year grant cycle. Responsibilities :

  • Program Support : Contribute to the daily operations of the SANAH program, ensuring alignment with GRID outreach practices and program rules
  • Project Management : Manage multiple projects and timelines concurrently and effectively
  • Stakeholder Coordination and Communication : Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure program success
  • Resource Management : compile and organize outreach resources to support the success of the team and program
  • Process improvement : Work with various stakeholders to identify opportunities to streamline processes
  • General Administrative Support : Field and respond to various outreach-related inquiries and take on responsibilities as assigned

What you need to bring to this role...

  • Passionate about GRID’s mission, renewable energy, affordable housing, and / or environment / environmental justice
  • Highly organized and detail‐oriented with an ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong professional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft office : word, ppt, excel, Asana, Teams, SalesForce
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment

    • It would be great if you also had…

  • Work or lived experience within the communities served by GRID
  • Experience with CRM databases, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Experience with renewable energy, affordable housing, and / or environment / environmental justice work
  • Hired CA candidates must be able to pass a screening for drugs that are illegal in the state of California, including : amphetamine, cocaine metabolite, opiates, and PCP.

    This position may require 10%-25% out-of-town travel to regional offices and special projects. Availability to work nights and weekends may be required.

    GRID Alternatives may provide vehicles for work travel and / or travel reimbursement for personal vehicle use. In this instance, applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.

    This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Hourly pay commensurate with experience within the pay band ($20-$29 per hour), plus the benefits listed below.
