Job Summary & Requirements

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our production machines, equipment and facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical and technical skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Hours : 4 : 00pm -2 : 00am Monday thru Friday

Responsibilities

  • Provides emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
  • Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment
  • Performs duties including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines
  • Responsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment (2-4 years preferred)
  • Previous experience working on printing presses a plus but not required
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Stong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to multi-task and to identify and execute process improvements as needed
  • Requires basic knowledge of computers

    • Physical Requirements

  • Regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Regularly work around moving machinery and heavy equipment
  • Frequently required to push / pull
  • Frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
  • Frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • Regularly use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
