As a Gas Operations Supervisor , you will have the opportunity to learn something new, gain experience with field representatives and be accountable for Enbridge’s field operations. Enbridge Gas Ohio has a Gas Operations Supervisor position available at the Marietta / Woodsfield, OH location. The primary reporting location will be at the Marietta / Woodfield offices.

Here’s what you will do :

• Support operational performance goals.
• Directly lead, supervise and develop a team of unionized employees to ensure work execution is performed safely, to quality standards and meets all required service and reliability levels.
• Schedule, assign, and monitor the work of service personnel, crews and contractors.
• Conduct job site observations.
• Ensure proper work methods are followed and that new employees receive adequate / appropriate training.
• Works closely with local Operations staff to ensure effective work completion for all required Operations, Maintenance, and Compliance work.
• Utilize ESRI, Salesforce, ARCOS, SAP, OCS and Microsoft applications, etc.
• Manage escalated customer complaints or service issues.
• Monitor budget goals and employee productivity.
• Ensure safety and environmental precautions are followed.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
• After hours overtime and weekend on call duty required.

Please note : This position is subject to emergency callouts where you will have emergency duty supervisor responsibilities after hours and over the weekend and is subject to pre-employment and random drug / alcohol screening. For callout purposes, the successful candidate must live within one hour of the operating area.

Working Conditions :

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to :

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to :

Ability to : understand, remember and apply oral and / or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate / explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
